an add to the quest for the origen of humans

an input from Muniraja Dasa on origen and comparative religion: But i have been urging Muniraja to go into this kind of exploration for some years now... since he is more an expert in the vedic literature... he is a hari Krishna munk here in Finnland.:

Santa Claus and Vedic Connection

Round the 5th of December the Batavians (now Holland) had a festival dedicated to Wodan/Odin (Varuna) and his son Thor (Indra), who would ride through the sky on Wodan's eight legged, white horse Sleipnir, announcing the change of year. Later their names changed into Kunne Klaas and Tijl, and during the Christian era into Sinterklaas (from Sint Nicolaas). (One of the strategies used by the Christians for the conversion of heathens in Europe.)

His white horse was still there, but now with four legs, and his son had disappeared. Now he was supposed to simply have come from Spain for chastising the naughty children and rewarding the brave ones with gifts from his never ending sack of presents, stuffing them through the chimneys while riding his sledge on the rooftops. Of course he also had a huge book in which everything was noted down about the kids and a bunch of black, dwarfy helpers (supposed to be Moors from Spain). Still later Sinterklaas and his entourage were banished to the North Pole, to become the fatty Santa Claus and his dwarfs of modern times.

Grandfather Frost is a Vedic God

MOSCOW, DECEMBER 30: A Russian scholar says red Russia's fairy tale Grandfather Frost, or Ded Moroz, is none other than Varuna, the god of seas in Hindu mythology.

Grandfather Frost, who is currently taking rest at his Moscow residence, gives children presents just as Santa Claus does but is associated with New Year's, the most universally observed Russian holiday. He flew to the capital from the northern Vologda region town of Veliky Ustyug, his official hometown, 800 kms east of Moscow, along with his assistant Snegurochka, or the Snow Maiden, as the festivities kicked off on the Christmas.

In the year 2003, which marks the beginning of the astrological age of Aquarius, Grandfather Frost is expected to shed his dear-old-man mask and allow the people of the world to see him as he truly is Varuna, the supreme Vedic god of water.

According to Vologda State University ethnologist, Svetlana Zharnikova, the Frost legend originated in the Russian north, the cradle of Indo-European civilization.

"All the original paradigms of Indo-European culture grew out of Polar Europe, and one of them is the image of Grandfather Frost," claims Zharnikova. "Because the Indo-European peoples originated within the Arctic circle, which was 30 degrees further south at the end of the Stone Age," she said. Characters related to cold and winter became an integral part of Vedic mythologies.

Varuna was both the source of life and death, and was described in Vedic writings as holding the tree of life, an image reminiscent of Grandfather Frost standing next to a Christmas tree, says the ethnologist.

The mythical hero of Russian children's New Year celebrations is said to emerge from the forest, deliver presents, then disappear to some uncertain destination.

and here comes a question from me and a comment

Thank you Muniraja for this input to the connection of legends and stories.. would be interesting to here about the "joulu pukki" and his connection to a goat in the vedic context.. Also about if those beings have some stories about a cannibal mother since in Iceland the christmassmen or Joulu pukki where not alone but 13.. or 12 plus one in the ... Sjá meiramiddle like the 12 kings of Atlantis... and yes bye the way this arctic place under the pole star is connected to an island in the northern Atlantis as in the case of Thule and Atlantis and also in the beginning of Kalevala... since Ilmater.. (il is fire and mater is a mother.. the one who feeds the fire.. mata is feeding in icelandic and the one who feeds is very often a mother) yes Ilmaters is in a vast sea for milenums and her knee is becomes hot at the top when the duck is sitting on the eggs and the the knee shakes... these are images of a vulcanic island... a mountain shaking and hot at the top. So therefore i presume we are in iceland since there are the only really active vulcans since milljons of years back on an island far north in the Atlantic. So there we have it the vedic gods coming from Iceland when we search for the root of humans and the root has everything to do with human wild man starting to use a fire as a must in a very cold place they could not leave... since it was an island and therefore in a need of fire to stay alife and i am talking at least million years back.. but then again fire was only used in Europe for 80.000 years by the Neandertals until with the cromagnon... 40.000 years ago, a europe looking man who then whent all over the globe in 5000 years.

Tryggvi

and then I added this:

and by the way... it all starts with an island in wast sea or water in the north, also in the egyptian origen stories just like in the vedic one and that theem is
actually the most common theme in all the flora of origen stories all over the globe.

yes the cannibal mother is represented in Kali and Kali is rootconnected to Hali and then we have Holy and Hel and Helvetica etc etc.. Helios the most ancient sungoddess and a mother of humans,,. and Gaja mother of the gods, is also riming with Kali... seemingly the same root-word and those primal mothers are the same as Ilmater...

and

the real orginal marrow of the red and white colours have to do with the 2 elements in nature 1. the red and white magic mushroom and 2.condly with our roots as humans and the situation where we where "born or created" as humans.. namly a place where the fire and the ice meet.. the extreem cold and the extreem hot... place is the place of our ... Sjá meiraoriginal home.. namely a vulcanic island in the northern atlantic. Pohjola and who was in charge there.. yes Louhi... the one toothed hag of the north... and when you go there you go north west and you either go over the ice in icetilme or later after icetime you have to sail...like Vainemönen the magic boutmaker who had to sing his bout into exhistence... but also had to get some advises from the Pohjola visards to make this bout ready... thanks Muniraja for to trigger this dialoge here... i have been expecting this kind of a inquiery to happen for a loong time now... heilolouuu and marry Joulu.. lets look into deeper and deeper and to the core...

more about red and white colour

just now a i was served the christmass or rather joulu porrige.. and its white rice with milk with burnt sienna redish cinnemo spices on top and mandles in it... also redish... and we know in the north almost all houses where tradishionally mostly red or red and white or black, red and white some... its no coinsidence this colour use... and the ... Sjá meirayellow colour (occur) is also there from very ancient times... in connection with the sunworship... its in the caves in europe 30 and 40.000 ears ago... aboriginals in Australia also use these colours... in their cave paintings... and they came walking from europe 30 - 35.000 years ago.. in Europe everything changed but in Australia they cept the old ways alife through all this time until the europians came some 300 years ago to australia...
blood is also red and people made blodcakes with white fat in it.. the blood became black after cooking... this food is tradishional in iceland and also finnland..
so food, clothes and houses... and then the flag of the nazy party... just one example of how this spycology is misused and the coca cola man..

a picture of the self

i think we have a picture of ourselfs that isnt really showing who we are...what we are.. how we where and what has become how we are now and how we feel about it makes us sick... pussled.

so how to see who we are

and what difference does it make?

the self image

this being in the mirror

yes we can see this being now and the world we live in and its messy and its hard

and confusing.

How to see better who we are and what we have been through... a dramatic story i have to tell about you and me

how we got here

through the genetic ladder.. generations of experience after gererations

from a cell, to the mouse to the ape

to the fire-ape less than milljon years ago

stranded on an cold vulcanic island for almost 900.000 years

and then we come to a mythological time

before and after the flood

and then a great war started... and we are there in the middle of it

still and its decadence

this war is inside us

we carry its wound within in all our relations,

even with our loved ones and ourself

and war.. what is a war? a great disagreemennt with no compromise between to parties... beings... these things are normally unspoken of... not exepted parts of ourselfs to go into deapts on this wa we are not pieceful..

so we are not whole.. we are broken, but trying to become whole, we do things we call mistakes... we hurt on another... we make a war in the hope we see whats wrong we make more wrong on top of wrong and we suffer and we suffer... trying to find a way out of suffering

there is not one way out of suffering... budda had many advices

but one part of it is to understand what we have whent through.. our story.. a story that explaines for us way we are like we are
not a story that makes powerpeople have a better way of dominating you and exploit but a story that will help you to heal and be whole... exept how you feel and are seeing this being in the mirror

oh should i tell it then?

do you want to hear it?

it is this relationship

between man and woman that needs lika a electric battery some charging time, other ways it will run flat and dead...

and then there is no relationship anymore... no comunication

so instead of being all the time togeather, it becomes more like a love affaire, of a time not spent togeather, but of a memory of each other, very vivid, a constant attraction...

cos if they stay togeather all the time, they will also start to have an argumennt about where 2 go or what to do... and it might eskilate to a powergame and that game has in cases evoulved to a war... even a never ending war and or a seperation total

tragic things have happened

there is a dark side in humans and a dark history too, the hidden one of a war between male and female rule,... as I have told here before... this can come up also
---------------------------------------
so the art of giving a space for a distance

the magic art of keeping it a life and glowing

this is the real art of life not practiced by many

and there is a romantic extatic version of the human relationship potential
